WHAT is the Partnership Learning Loop?
Each partnership consists of different layers. It is not just the people around the table but always encompasses broader organisational involvement. And it is exactly the layered process that makes working in partnerships often challenging. The Partnership Learning Loop is designed to assess the perceptions of all partners involved in the different layers of a partnership. It shows the nuances and differences between those perceptions. It helps to stimulate dialogue in an open atmosphere about these differences.
Its aim is to:
1. Foster consistently high quality and effective collaboration
2. Assess how the partnership as a whole is doing throughout the partnership (against a benchmark but also against own objectives).
3. Ascertain the partnership accelerators and inhibitors.
4. Help guide steering and decision making and a road map forward in order to increase potential development value.
